There is no solution for this because plasma has not found a solution for this.

I can not improve it any better, if anyone steps in and provide a better solution for parabolic effect, no objection from me as long as that does not block other features.
If you are using v0.8 then check first the upcoming git version (v0.9) that contains some optimizations. If you are using git version already then this is best that I can provide. - Jul 14 2019

In v0.8 you can have this is if you disable Tweaks->Automatic Items shrinking and in advance mode you try afterwards to alter the size
In master version you just need to be in advance mode...
Take note that if you get blur at your icons afterwards when they are in norma-unzoomed case then you need to check out your icon theme what is the icon sizes it provides. That rule does not apply for item sizes >= 64px. - Jul 14 2019

You can blame Plasma for this, it is probably fixed with Plasma 5.16.3 for X11. You are probably using Intel graphics driver

Sorry I don't like the idea

unfortunately currently there is not

no idea

Latte supports Filter by launchers and shows tasks only from the assigned launchers in the dock, I don't know if that would help you
- May 10 2019
thank u!
1. I havent found a way to solve this under X11, wayland does not appear such issue. From an old communication with kwin developers the fault was on X11 implementation
2. You are using NVidia proprietary driver. This affects all Plasma/Qt stack and it is not only Latte related. News say that it should be fixed with Qt 5.13+ Plasma 5.16
3. Plasma systray -> Right Click, Notifications -> Configure Notifications it gives you a way to set the notifications position - May 03 2019

I am asking because if this is your opinion for v0.8 I can't imagine what will be for upcoming v0.9

it has been implemented as an option in the upcoming version but I cant find any time soon to make a release... If you want to test it, you can try the master branch from https://github.com/psifidotos/applet-window-buttons
- Nov 17 2019
This is supported through Latte or by Window Buttons in plasma panel... In Latte you can find this setting through Latte Global Settings: https://userbase.kde.org/LatteDock/TipsAndTricks#Can_I_have_different_Borderless_Maximized_windows_options_between_different_layouts.3F

it was never a window buttons problem, you just downloaded wrong file:
for v0.3: you must download the 5-12-v0.3 that you can find in Files of this page
for upcoming v0.4: both versions 5-12 + master have been merged and there will be one file to rule all plasma versions - May 08 2019

Nothing to do with the applet, it is how Global menu works. You can try to open a feature request for plasma and see how it goes

you need to build and install this applet, you can NOT just added from Plasma Widgets Explorer. If you tried to build it and same things happen then open a bug report at: https://github.com/psifidotos/applet-window-appmenu/issues
containing also the output of your entire build process in command line - Jul 11 2019

In Latte git version if you use windows title and Window AppMenu they both provide a Unity behavior option that you can enable.
In Unity mode the window title is shown by default until you hover it and the appmenu appears instead. - Jun 29 2019
