I originally found this around 7 years ago I just changed the Images to Suit my liking. I originally had it on a SuSe Box and it worked well!



Here is the was I got the Idea,

Here's how to install it...

Installation:

Copy a contents of archive to /usr/share/splash/themes (eg. /usr/share/splash/themes/SuSEsplash )
and change /etc/sysconfig/bootsplash to use your freshly created theme.

Then run (as root):

# SuSEconfig --module bootsplash
# mk_initrd

If you use lilo for booting, you have to rerun the "lilo" program in order
to make lilo recognize your new initrd containing the pictures.

Is it possible to get the SuSE RPM?
Im not a newbie but I am a moron, the RPM makes its so easy to install with YaST. I use Suse 9.1 but I just downloaded 10.0 so I will be starting fresh with that.
