The odd GTK3 menu behaviour, should now be fixed, wich should affect the NM-Applet issue.

Regarding to the right click issue with gedit seems to be a gedit bug, Adwaita, Zukitwo, and others seem to have this issue as well, i would state that as a gedit bug.

When i tried this theme in XFCE i found out that GTK2 menuitems are smaller than the GTK3 ones, i personally would like to increase xthickness & ythickness with 1px to keep semi-consistency with the GTK3 counterparts.

I don't know what you would like of this, so i left that one out for the moment, meaning no change.

Also i would really recommend trying out the Cinnamon desktop with Nemo filebrowser, and xfce4-terminal, but it's all up to you, but i fell direcly in love with it since day one.

Hey i did not hear back from you, do you still have the issues with the menus? i do not myself have them, since i run cinnamon. You are running classic mode right? just give me a shout and i will try to reproduce you'r issue and try to find a solution.

Ahhh yeah i made shrunk the menubar indeed since the window-border become a little bigger, i have reverted the changes and updated the theme package, the i can probably fix the window border by properly reevaluating the issue, just keep reporting further isssues, thanks for using my theme =D

The thing is this, my Metacity theme is written in Metacity 1.x code, and the wonderful adwaita theme is written in metacity 2.x code, i know it sounds odd,

Anyhow i cannot simply copy & paste the window captions from the new Adwaita theme, since it will not work togheter with metacity 1.x code since it's not compatible.

And i cannot take my code in the new Adwaita theme since it's not compatible with metacity 2.x 3.x code.

So my only option is this take the new Adwaita theme, learn the new code, and start over theming it to look like the old one, with just newer captions.

And that's why it's so hard, but i will try and see were it goes. - May 29 2013

Yes it will not blend in perfecly, but those captions is the ones i want, though porting the metacity theme will be alot of work, for me atleast, since it does not use pixmaps.

If anyone would help me out i would love it, perhaps ask the designer, but this is just to much work for me.

Don't worry keep reporting errors, i will certainly look into this, there's just old code from the old Adwaita Elements merged togheter with Clearlooks-Phoenix and, there's horizontal & vertical paddings specified in the menuitem property at the same time there's only a vertical padding specified in the menubar property, making things messy sometimes.

The theme does indeed need a clean up, but i will look into the issue and keep reporting until you are satisfied =D *I'll try to see if i can look into this tonight*

Updated the the theme, tell me if you still find the tabs to be to small.
I have also added a fix for the menubar in firefox, i will take a look at LibreOffice later.

I have not added any new features for the theme yet, but suggestions are welcome, so just point out if there's anything i should fix of add.
I am for the moment just waiting to see what will be broken when the next version of Gnome arrives ;)

Oh btw i have made an addon that adds a border to the top panel, just like in Gnome 3.0

The menus and scrollbars will be fixed, dont worry ;)
The most challenging part will be the buttons,

That's a design issue that have been fixed in Nautilus 3.6
Before i had to manually add a border to the nautilus sidebar, this is now not needed in nautilus 3.6

I am sorry that i haven't had the time to work on the theme, every Gnome update seems to break something.
But i have not abandoned this theme since it's my default theme.

Hey, yes i am going to update this theme so it works with Gnome 3.4. Every Gnome update seems to break stuff, this time they changed alot in the theme making it very hard for me to sync the changes with between Adwaita and Adwaita Elements.

The easiest way seems to be to start over again and using the latest Adwaita theme for base.

1. If I open a new terminal as a tab the scrollbar changes?

Ahh yeah, i can confirm that, i even also saw that Tabs looks aswell
*This should be fairly easy*, since i am going to make the tabs in Gnome-terminal transparent as well.

2. The theme are crash prone here when restarting the shell with alt+f2 "r" especially with a few application open e.g. firefox will do it for sure at least here. It will crash me to the opps logout screen. This use to happen a lot with the default GTK3 but I can't really get the default theme to crash anymore. Perhaps something changed in the original codebase?

This is absolutley something i am really going to look into.

Try this out, choose the Adwaita Elements from Tweak-Tool, restart gnome-shell and fire up a terminal and try to start eg FileRoller,Gedit etc from the terminal *So that we can get some verbose output of what's going wrong. Copy&Paste the output to eg the pastebin service and just post the URL here.

Oh i almost forgot, when changing the window decoration in Gnome-Tweak-Tool, you need to either relog or press simply ALT + F2 and do just type r in the run-dialog and press enter to reload the Window borders. - Jun 23 2011

If you are running Gnome 3.x then make sure
that you also selected Adwaita Elements
under the Window section in Gnome-Tweak-Tool.

If you do not have Gnome-Tweak-Tool,
i recommend to install it ;)
Just simply install Gnome-Tweak-Tool in you'r distro-repository. - Jun 23 2011

Okey, glad to hear that it was not caused by the theme, There's a workaround for this bug, when you want to rename any file *Right Click* -> *Properties* and rename the file that way. I've always used that method since Properties is just at the bottom of the menu so it's easy to target with the mouse when in a hurry ;) - May 28 2011

Under what situation are you unable to rename files? Is it in Nautilus or any other program? - The more information i can get will help me to reproduce the bug on my system aswell. - May 28 2011
