Hi, I seem to be able to make it work only with english. And sometimes it closes krunner unexpectedly (not crashes, just closes)
The syntax conflicts with the calculator runner syntax and this does seem to cause crashes if both runners are active.
Very nice idea! - Apr 15 2014

Hi, thanks for this little nifty program, works very well.
I also have the bug which prevents Krop to be used via the right-clivk "open with" menu.
Three more suggestions in order of importance:
1) Provide a way to allow to crop many different pdf files with the same cropping geometry/selection. Or at least speed up the process. (eg: option to remember output folder and cropping region for the next file, and button to open the next file in the working folder)
2)Provide a button to automatically select a region without having to do it manually. Okular does have such a button that says "trim margins".
3)Krop seems to forget, if closed and reopened, the last opened files and their folder.
Thank you! - Feb 16 2014

Hi, very good then I'll send you an email in the next days with more details, thanks!

?
Of course I can do that, does not require a Field medal. But no new file appears, it just does nothing.

In my case, the pdf "Extract select pages" (which by the way should be "selected") does not do anything. It says "Finished", but where does it put the new file?

IMHO beclock should adjust himself looking at the panel.
I have beclock on the bottom right corner, and a bottom panel hiding.
The panel hides and shows much slower than beclock, it's a little annoying. If beclock adjusted its hiding time to the same of the panel it's be great! - Nov 16 2011

It's a pity this is being neglected on AUR. Could you build a package? There is one but is left at 0.13b version.

The AUR entry for beclock is out of date, maybe you'd want to take up the mantaining of it?

This sometimes crashes Krunner on my 4.9 system. I guess this is known, right? Is there a fix coming? I can provide whatever bug report may be needed.

... for updating this invaluable part of KDE!

I've said it before and I say it again. I have no idea why this runner has been so neglected by KDE users and distributions. Its power and usability are far superior to Nepomuk's. It does less, but it does it much much better. It's way faster, at least on my laptop with a decent SSD. It's simple and doesn't return hundreds of useless search results like Nepomuk does.
I recently switched from 4.5 to 4.9 and found fsrunner to cause krunner to crash very often. I can't work well withour this item, please fix it and bring it back! - Aug 29 2012

Uops, still a problem.
In the "save as" dialog, for example, I still have issues:

Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and now everything works fine. Don't ask me why!
Do you have your Oxygen-KDE Thunderbird addon ready for 9.0? Or was that dropped? It was a very useful piece of software, Thunderbird misses it. - Jan 04 2012

Hi, after update to Firefox 9 the look was horrible. I now updated to 3.6.1 and it's still horrible! The top bar is ugly. I don't have buttons nor tick squares, it's almost impossible to use Here's a screenshot:

I find the work to be astonishingly good, but needs mastering and time to get it right. As said it needs, imho, an how-to or at least some default values. Also complete description of how every single option acts. Yes I know form a developer point of view making your work understandable to us noobs out here is the most annoying part, but without this your work, which is brilliant, will just not be appreciated for what it is.

I have a problem with the connection at startup. I use KDE. Usually archassistant does not recognize my network automatically, and even if it does it takes a good minute to connect to it. net-auto-wireless daemon is active, everything should be fine.
Is there a way for connecting to the network before or during the KDM login? - Jul 20 2011

actually there's something similar called netcfgGUI, it's in the AUR.
I really like AA, but it needs some more customization options and a bit more explanations on what options do what. I've been using it for the last weeks and it's great tho, I was so tired of NM and all its bugs! - Jun 02 2011

Hi, sorry for the late answer, it seems that this bug s not related to the icon theme, I'll have to investigate further into this but I honestly have no idea of what it could be related to.
- Jul 13 2011
Uhm, I had a try at some iconsets, but none seems to work. If I type in Krunner the app the icon shown is right, but in smooth tasks the icon used is the standard one. This happens also wth the normal application bar, so it's not a smooth tasks bug. Sorry for the late answer.
- Jul 13 2011
Archassistant, klipper, battery icons belong to the systray, so like you say they come from the plasma theme. Sorry I forgot that. But Chromium, Krunner, mupdf ,also Firefox, who live in the application bar (la barra delle applicazioni insomma, dai che ci capiamo!), in my system have their own icon, I don't know why. Kmess for example uses your icons, so do other KDE apps, they are fine. But some non-KDE apps behave wrong.
Probably it's just a problem of misconfiguration of my system, but happens on my gf's laptop too.
About dolphin, that drawer seems a little odd to me. Doesn't fit with other icons, but that's just my opinion!
IMHO it'd be nice if the dolphin icon was a real dolphin, but that's your icon theme, you do what you want!
Also you may want to build an AUR entry for your work, or ask the gnome AwOken package mantainer to mantain this too. - Jul 02 2011

This is the most amazing iconset ever made, congratulations.
Most appreciated missing icons would be:
archassistant
mupdf
chromium (somehow it always uses the default icon in the panel - using smooth tasks)
kfilebox
folder-books or something having to do with study/university/school
folder-torrents
folder-films (different from folder-movies)
folder-various
folder-info
folder-chat
folder-backup
folder-maps
folder-gps
folder-data
dolphin icon is a bit dull - maybe you could be original and use a real dolphin there!
krunner icon in the panel
Settings icon shouldn't have the gnome foot ;)
(I know they are a lot - just throwing out all the possible ideas there!)
Also I don't know why but some panel icons stick to the normal monochrome ones, such as battery, kmix and klipper icons. - Jul 02 2011

I'd really like this to be in the Archlinux User Repository, why don't you add it there?
- Jun 08 2011
Still chromium is using the default icon... the iceglass icon is used only during program loading.
- Feb 06 2011
As many laptop users I really miss Trayfreq icons, could you build up some? It would be great!
- Feb 06 2011
This theme is great! I've been using it for a couple of weeks by now. I only have a small problem: all the apps use the right icons, exept chromium, which uses the standard white-blue icon. Why?
- Feb 05 2011
... for this awesome and really complete icon set. Only thing I do not like are the system tray icons. Also, some important icons are missing, IMHO:
Chromium panel bar icon (at least I cannot find it)
Firefox panel bar icon
dropbox icons
trayfreq icons
battery systray icon
Excellent job! - Nov 27 2010

I do not know. I guess KDE, don't see why it should be gmp. There are a few people complaining about it in forums.

done, works.

Three little complaints:
- As said, the "I" is too fat
- The spinning cursor is too thin! It should have some sort of thickness when spinning
- Missing resizing double arrows (like <->), the ones that appear when you get near the edge of a window
besides that, I really like it. Good job! - Dec 08 2010

- Dec 06 2010
Hi, just installed Knemo on my Archlinux, running KDE4.5.
I use the Iceglass icon theme, which I really like.
When choosing Knemo icons, I can pick between the 6 choiches, but only the Netload and the Text actually work. All the other icon themes only show a single icon, the one placed in
/home/adriano/.kde4/share/icons/Iceglass-1.7/22x22/apps/knemo.png
I guess Knemo is searching for icons which are not where he thinks.
Also, in my opinion the correct italian translation for "Hint", in this case, is not "Suggerimento", but something like "Informazioni a comparsa" or "Informazioni pop-up".
IMHO! - Dec 06 2010

If it isn't, it should be!
By the way, I cannot install it via the KDE installer: it is not a valid theme archive file. And I have no Xdefaults file. - Sep 21 2010

Maybe too simple. Under the advance tab some more detailed settings would be most welcome - just look at rsync / bup man page!!!
Also, a progress bar / information regarding the backup really is needed. When I'm backupping 600GB of data I need to know at which point in the backup I am (rsync can do that via CLI with the -P flag), this in my opinion should be a core feature.
I tried to do a backup of 5MB and for some reason it hang there - maybe the folder name tree was too long for the FAT Destination drive, I don't know. But the fact that it hang there with no information of what was it doing was worrying. This also means it should have a "pause" and "stop" button just like the standard KDE file transfer dialog.
So in brief imho three features that are missing and are very important:
- more detailed interface to rsync and bup options and information about the default options
- progress bar
- backup control options (pause, resume, stop, undo)
Thanks for the very neat software! - May 15 2014
