Okular 7zip support - Idea

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by echoes 9 comments

Perhaps he means to allow for compressed pdf.gz, ps.gz ala pdf.7z and ps.7z to be read inside Okular.

Debian gz'd docs for postscript and pdf. It would be nice to have those extract temporarily, on the fly, with 7z. - Mar 31 2009

Looks like a very clean, powerful and useful frontend to Grub.

I'm glad you noted GRUB2. Debian Lenny may or may not make GRUB2 the default but the transition path in Debian Sid and Lenny are a simple command.

I don't know if the Debian engineers work with you or other developers on such a critical low-level piece of code to work within your Application but it's refreshing to see such a solution and in KDE 4 as well.

KGet splash screen

where it turns the center large icon that you borrowed to be combined with multiple smaller arrows feeding into that one big icon to articulate graphically the notion of both the plugin architecture of KGet2 and a salute to Bittorrent and it's paradigm.

KGet2 being capable of using Bittorrent could easily incorporate this idea and be original, dare I say, naturally extending the Icon to it's fullest. - Jul 14 2008

Picaso was right. Good artists copy and great artists steal.

Nice to see the Aperture, Lightroom, iMovie, etc., influence that came from basic dark rooms/camera bodies is revealed in the basic app layout. - Sep 02 2007
KIO Slave sysinfo:/

Various KDE 1.-4. Improvements by jerrad 241 comments

I didn't both building a deb and just took the default paths that came with the source.

Built just fine and installed.

One caveat: I've got a Pentium D940 and since it uses the AMD kernel it's showing an AMD icon.

I think if you test a bit further on the Genuine Pentium a nice Intel Pentium D Icon would finish off this excellent Slave. - Aug 28 2007

On Debian Sid /usr/include/boost isn't just one set of APIs so I just selected all available to cover all bases. - Mar 17 2007

1.4.3 is not currently listed. The Changelog hasn't been updated to include 1.4.3.

Knowing that LyX 1.5 under development is targeted with Qt4 I does LyX 1.4.3 actually target Qt2 and not Qt3 frameworks to build against? - Sep 21 2006

Where you have the balls to claim GPL and Apple Dashboard in the same information is pathetic.

Make your own calendar design. Or is it just easier to steal? If you're gonna steal make it actually better. - May 30 2005

I believe he outlined his reasoning quite succinctly.

Unless of course you think he can convince another image viewer to add OpenGL support to render and break past the limitations of imlib or Qt's image libraries?

He chose a route accessible and freely available.

To me that is intelligent. - Feb 03 2005

KDE 3.x Splash Screens by bojanbozovic 2 comments

Your view of GOD or The Most High is so juvenile that you even classify IT as a Him.

The Universe is Beauty and is Boundless.

You denounce the nude form yet you aren't clamoring to the Catholic Church for contracting a Queer to paint Images of GOD by Michelangelo.

Surely your lack of the mystical symbolism behind the Qabalistic meaning of Tolerance shows me just how stunted you are with your Knowledge.

Please continue broadcasting commentaries of sandalwearing fanatics that have been dead going on two thousand years.

Meanwhile, the Universe will forever continue to evolve, including tolerating the biggotry you exhibit by preaching your Blind Dogma to the those who have never asked for a Sermon.

Dogmatic Religion is a boil on the ass of Reason.

In the land of the Blind the One Eye'd Man is King.

Let me know when you stop walking around like a leper looking for your personal Messiah to heal your Sight.

Better yet, when you actually grasp the cosmology of the Bible, the Upanishads, the sacred writings of Zoroastrianism, Western Occult Sciences and others you just might smile and be comfortable in knowing that The Most High in it's Infinite Presence is in every one of us as a Finite God.

Oh look what I just said! Curse me! Oh please curse me with your verbage that garnered the wealths of countless nations by force for your GOD is a blood thirsty HIM.

Ironically, I didn't even download the copyrighted image by a phenomenal artist, because as a splash screen it doesn't improve upon the standard KDE 3.3.1 splash screen. Nor is it really one of the better works by Royo.

I just had to respond since Balance requires it.

I recommend this person have more orgasms in life and spend less time spreading the Gospel to computer enthusiasts looking to modify the appearance of Linux or any operating system. - Dec 01 2004
