Hi Mtax,

Unfortunately I made a mistake during saving the file when I made the formats. By accident I saved the file while I flattened the picture. So the original source file is only a one layer picture now. I'm very sorry for that...

Hi Concoran,

Well, I could explain how I made it, but it's rather difficult to tell it without writing a complete tutorial. If you know how to make a glossy item in the Gimp, this isn't too hard to make. Really...

Maybe you can check out YouTube for a video tutorial how to make glossy buttons.

Hi,

Yes, I think I'll try to make a widescreen version of this wallpaper too. At this moment I only made a 1280x1024 version and a 1366x768 version (respectively my desktop and my laptop).

As soon as I finished it, I'll drop it at Gnome-Look.org. ;-)
