Well to be thorough, I think you should test it with a proper GNOME app as well (Characters, Mines or Lollypop for example), because Firefox is its own toolkit with some colours borrowed from GTK, GIMP does not have the headerbar and more “modern” elements of GTK, and Inkscape is GTK2. - May 27 2020

Well I guess that patch instruction was just a quick reply from Zren, not the real solution. I never thought that Parachute can, in its current state, replace Present Windows entirely. I meant for Zren to add Parachute as an option (if it is installed) along with the others (Present Windows, Desktop Grid, etc) already selectable in his plasmoid's settings.

I opened an issue on https://github.com/Zren/plasma-applet-presentwindows/ to include Parachute if it is installed. He responded with instructions on how to patch my copy of Present Windows Button to open Parachute instead of the standard Plasma Present Windows view. If he doesn't include it, I will make a fork that includes it. It isn't complicated.
Then maybe you could include it with the script, and also the hotcorner thingy, so people have a complete experience out of the box.

As for the icon appearing in KWin scripts window, try changing the Icon=... row in metadata.desktop to your custom icon.
Btw the symbolic version is just the red rectangles being white and the yellowish ones being transparent with white borders. - Apr 08 2020

I've been waiting for this!
I used KWinOverview for a while, then the dev didn't have time to improve it and it was kinda buggy, but seeing this made me really happy. This is the best thing I've seen for months.
Kudos and keep up the development!
I hope it gets into mainstream Plasma one day!
If you want it, I could make a plasmod for it that opens it through DBus. Similar to Present Windows plasmoid.
I can also make a symbolic icon which would look nice with Breeze. - Apr 05 2020

But it is for bugs right? Like existing features. I just have a question about dock hierarchy: When left and top docks are present, the top one always takes the corner ("Maximum space" for the left dock is shortened by top panel's height) regardless of which was created first. I just wanted to ask whether this is intentional (then I would really appreciate a brief explanation if you have the time) or not (in which case this is a feature request to add an option to set which panels get the corner).
I am not sure bugs.kde.org is the right place for that. If it is, we can discuss it there. Or should I use forum.kde.org? - Mar 02 2019
