You will always see current weather.
The download time (your computer's time) is shown.
If you click on the time, an italic time will be shown: the time, when the provider updated the information on his homepage (local time).
Hope this solves your problem. - Dec 06 2009

When komparator4 window is closed, and system tray icon is enabled, it won't close but minimize to system tray icon (and therefore won't exit).

ilmeteo.it does indeed provide weather FORECAST for Tarquinia, but no CURRENT temperature (which is an observation!).

Look at the link I wrote, and you will notice: no current temperature.

CWP can only show information provided by the homepage.

If you find a way to find out about the current temperature, please let me know. - Nov 13 2009

Plasma 4 Extensions by jaegerschnitzel 1067 comments

OK, I see.

There is the following problem: CWP reduces fontsize, until the sunrise/sunset text fits into the available space.
And the text is very long ("8:22 PM / 7:55 AM" consumes more space than the normal "8:22 / 19:55")

So resizing the plasmoid so it's wider might help. - Oct 13 2009

Plasma 4 Extensions by jaegerschnitzel 1067 comments

Can you try to increase the font size globally (inside cwp configuration dialog), and see if it helps?

If it doesn't, a bigger font size relative to other text's sizes won't help. - Oct 07 2009

Plasma 4 Extensions by jaegerschnitzel 1067 comments

I looked at the page www.aemet.es.

Obviously it doesn't offer any current weather data: current temperature, current humidity, wind, sunrise/sunset, ... for every city.

In that case, I think, it doesn't make too much sense implementing a new weather provider xml file.

Or did I miss the city current weather link? - Aug 11 2009

At the moment, I'm working on the following thing:
Satellite images (or other custom images) are saved into preferred locations, so you can right click -> switch between locations (already implemented), and will also change the Satellite image(s) which were saved when creating the preferred location.

I guess that's just what you need? - Jun 17 2009

Only valid weather icons should be displayed, in the case there is some unknown weather condition, a "unknown icon" should be shown, but really no default "black white sheet of paper" icon.

This is a bug (probably cwp didn't install its "weather-windy.svgz" icon into the correct folder?). - Jun 10 2009

Thanks for your attention.

I understand now, that starting midi playback from a certain position is a feature that lilypond has to provide ("links" in pdf file not only to source code positions, but also to midi file positions).
Probably, for the moment a midi player supporting seeking would suffice.

Black articulations: Probably you could set the default button background color to white or grey?

I'll send you the updated translation file, when it's ready, I'm working on it. - May 19 2009

Audio Apps by wbsoft 75 comments

First let me say: Thank you for this great little app! It "just works"!

I have some suggestions to improve it though:

- Symbols with transparent background (like articulation symbols which can be quick inserted) are unusable with dark desktop themes, as you can't see them!

- If multiple documents are opened, a tab below this quick insert tab with the opened documents would be nice, though not terribly necessary

- A tab with quick insert a note would be nice (for usual notes this is not necessary, of course, but think about double-cross notes etc). For experienced lilypond coders this won't be necessary of course, but they could simply leave this tab closed. Probably also other things to quick insert, I don't know.

- I experienced some crashes, don't know why.

- It's annoying to always have to save the document before lilypond can be run. Can't it be saved automatically to a temporary file? Probably also keep it inside some $HOME/.frescobaldi directory, so it can be used to recover after a crash?

- Autosaving feature, see above

- Probably unwanted feature: automatically run lilypond, if user stopped typing for some seconds or so?

- When clicking "play midi", it asks for a midi player instead of simply using "timidity ..." command from settings dialog

- Would it be possible to select a note inside pdf document, and start midi playback from that place? I know, this might be a difficult task, but probably some midi player allows seeking?

- For midi playback: Embedding Dragon Player would be cool (if it's able to play midi files, not sure about that), and a step to cross platform compatibility.

- Stop button for midi playback (for longer music files...)

- I tried to complete German translation, but the English messages seem to be a little bit of a mess: with or without trailing ".", ...
Are the current messages somehow in a "final" state? Probably they need some clean-up...

- Templates: Could you provide template file support? Probably even deliver good templates with frescobaldi? I think this would help beginners a lot!

That's all for the moment. Don't be shocked by the number of requests, I think frescobaldi is a great app already! :-) - May 17 2009
