install "kbootsplash" on your computer....

or anyway you must copy the folder into:
/etc/bootsplash/themes/

ad then you have to configure the sysconfig file... i suggest kbootsplash anyway - May 08 2006

A question... how do you create the message file in "/boot/message" with the pictur of grub background? I tried using "ls . | cpio -o>message" but it generate a too big files... always! even if should fit! help please! - Aug 19 2005

Actually I'm working on a matrix "full screen" kde splash (based on moodin engine) that will be complementary with this bootsplash (just like the bootsplash and the kde splash screen of the suse 9.3)...
Tomorrow I'll leave for holidays but I think that the kde splash screen will be ready for the first week of september! - Aug 18 2005
