Thank you! Now the error does not appear. But everytime I run the program it just puts out “calculate BPM for 0 files .... Done”, no matter what I tell it what files to scan. Are you sure it works with Amarok 2? - Aug 22 2010

Good work! I was looking a long time for something like this.
3 remarks:
- If you have selected just one track, you have no grouping (what is feasible), but you can mark a label with this dotted tick by clicking once on the box, which makes no sense.
- The “Help” button is cut at the bottom because it is slightly too below (just some pixel).
- When you change some labels, the changes are applied to the database, but amarok itself does not recognize it before a restart. I don't know if you can make amarok “reload” the database, but this would be nice. - Jul 28 2010

would be nice if the content of the rating statistics would scale with its window, at least the graphics “score over time” and “rating over time”. Since I have many classical songs, this becomes a bit muddled ;) - Apr 08 2010

Frescobaldi

At first, this program looks really promisingly.

I tried it under Ubuntu and installed the package "frescobaldi" from the PPA.
It runs, but the most funktions don't work, e.g. opening the preferences, closing a tab or finally compiling. There is just no reaction.

Must I also install the "frescobaldi-data"? When I try to, I get this error message:

I don't know if you understand german, it says roughly that frescobaldi-data tried to overwrite /usr/share/kde4/apps/frescobaldi/lib/rational.py, which is also included in the package "frescobaldi".

And do I need the package "rumor"? If so, where to get it? - Feb 18 2010

In the KDE svn repository (in trunk) the .po file is nearly complete for german. But if I build the plasmoid, it is mostly in english. So where are the .po files it is using? In the sources I just find the .mo files, but these are not useful. - Feb 01 2010

Yes, that would be cool.

And an other thing: when you have new mails you open your client and read them. But this plasmoid still shows that you have mail.
So, a little option would be nice that the plasmoid checks the mails again after, say, 1 minute after the mail client has been opened. - Nov 25 2009
