Minimize buttons are silly. Try to get accustomed to ALT-TAB + workspaces (CTRL-ALT-arrowkeys) it is much more neat. Of course it is always a matter of personal choice. Just make sure not to push unsupported features.

About how many icons do you have in your collection? Perhaps I can help making the theme package if you want.
That way you only bother for the artistic part. This is a very nice and creative theme, you deserve all the help we can offer. - Oct 26 2010

You have done the best you could do and this thread also offers proof that your intention is not plagiarism.
Thanks for your theme, I hope I could log-out or even shutdown my machine more regularly to enjoy it even more. I think it'll stand a lot of time here.

The problem is: Have you asked the author of that picture if he wants his/her contents be released under GPL? I don't think so.
Please consider posting the link to the original picture to prop the photographer, which is the real master here!!

- Oct 28 2009

I was just tired of my own theme selection and was thinking about a somewhat dark version of black and white and then, you saved the day!
Thank gods for people with good taste ;)
And thank you overall for sharing.
I'd make black the menu bar. Other than that, just perfect!! - Aug 17 2009

Please don't bother to ask the author about this. I guess he has more important things to do than supporting specific distributions.

I did meant that this theme is for GDM and the later GDM is a rewriten version which does not support themes yet, AFAIK. So I can't enjoy your theme right now. Indeed I think I'll replace GDM with something lighter.
Some distros pack an earlier GDM version with later Gnome environments however, so they "aren't affected" with the problem of this incapability for customizing GDM's appearance.
BTW: I think your theme is very nice.

The only one sound I could complain about is "popup". Everything else is almost perfect. Gorgeous log sound by the way.
Keep up the good work!!
PS:// I cannot wait to finish my Ratpoison configuration with a little touch of "sounding" elegance.
I'll write about this sound theme at my Blog so that (hopefully) many people be aware of it.

System Sounds by glhleite 20 comments
It is apparent you haven't take too much time for checking out the available documentation. Many people tends to avoid requests like this pointing out (RTFM).
However, here we go...
You can add your audio files to whatever directory you feel comfortable with.
Click on Gnome's (I think this is your case...) or KDE's menu and check out the preferences dialog (usually under "system") or something like that. I don't use any of them [...]
There you can setup your audio preferences, selecting the audio files you want to use.
That's all!
PS:// You couldn't copy this files to the sounds directory because it is system protected and only accessible with root (Super user) password, as anything in your disk except /home/you/..
