Since it only has minimal dependencies (gtk+, gtksourceview, aspell) those packages are likely to work on any recent debian-based distribution (ubuntu, aptosid, kanotix etc) - Aug 09 2013

I just can't say, when it will occur. It is planned to add configurability back (you know the script hydroxygen uses was originally written by me for OxygenRefit 1).
If you have any suggestions, feel free to ask. - Jan 16 2011

The git command creates an directory called "terranova", you "cd" into it, run "./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr" _instead_ of configure.
You already got that far, but: you missed one thing:
"make" _before_ "make install"
besides, you can remove the self-build one via "make uninstall", packages as usual via your package-manager.
The reason why there's no package, is pretty simple: GIT is in-development. It will take about 1 or 2 weeks until the final v0.50 is beeing released. - Jul 19 2010

I believe I made a misstake in the Makefile.am from 0.50~pre1 which doesn't install the breadcrumb stuff, so checkout the git of TN via:
git clone git://git.tuxfamily.org/gitroot/terranova/terranova.git
2) That's because of firefox' widget abstraction -- I'll check wether I can find a solution.
3) open the gtkrc and search for "gtk-small-toolbar" or "gtk-large-toolbar"
Besides, I'm glade someone else likes it, too :D
If you have any suggestion, then please let me know. - Jul 18 2010

It's a set of functions and stuff, to modify your bash, you can se a "pimped" bash prompt in the screenshot. Besides it also contains a graphical setup tool.
You can read the docs for more infos (documentation/index.html in the tarball) - Mar 08 2010

You need to create the the other sizes on your own:
- unpack tarball
- cd into the new directory
- ./buildallsizes.sh*
* requires imagemagick to be installed
NOW install the theme. - Jan 02 2010

Idea: Making buttons glow in different colors on hover? At least I'll do so in the sawfish version - Sep 20 2009
Also you don't have to worry about Cairo's speed. I run GtkPerf with Excelsior 4.0 and Clearlooks 2.24 and Excelsior (with that bg-gradient, random-effects & co) was not slower than Clearlooks, nope even a bit faster, so Cairo is ready to go. - Aug 14 2009

Bootsplash Various by Chrispy 9 comments
* Apps which are directly related to artwork (SplashyCreator, Screenlets etc) are allowed here
* Checkbuttons do now behave normal
* May add Tooltips in the next release
* With the 3.0 codebase it will be much easier to add the option for editing existing themes, but don't expect early reulsts
* Theme Destination may be variable in the next release, using the new introduced rc-file - Jul 26 2009

Also currently only one style is available (not 5 like in Excelsior), therefore I concentrate on that one and once it's finished, I'll add the text one and do the same there.
May take some time, but it's ok. - Jun 07 2009

Either way, TerraNova is an approach to improve Excelsior (and a lot of changes have been done meanwhile), while not all are user-visible.
Any comments? ^_^ - Jun 04 2009

Various Gnome Stuff by marufaberlin 10 comments
you may check if user set an icon, if not use gtk_icon_theme, you could then setup an empty function for it, like
set_icon(blah, icon-name)
{
if (user_set blah)
else (blah)
} - May 24 2009

Various Gnome Stuff by marufaberlin 10 comments
- make use if gtk_icon_theme instead of hardcoding paths
- make use of a config file instead of hardcoding it
... I would help you, if you it was in python :) - May 24 2009

You need a gpg key for that. Create one via Seahorse.
Name of the key must be:
"Name Familyname <emailaddress>"
keep the < > characters, afterwards open debian/changelog and replace my string inthe last line "Christopher Bratusek <emailaddress>" (keep the rest of the line. and now rebuild. - Nov 13 2008
