Man I wish this would just get added in KDE by default. I mean we have the explosion effect that I've never seen anyone use and but not this... :| - Feb 14 2013

Any chance the darkest setting could be made darker? Ideally the slider would go from 5% (yes, barely visible) brightness to 95%. I don't know the numbers, but right now it looks like it goes from about 25% to 90%
I tried to poke around in the code and find it myself, but having the coding experience of a walrus, it generally fell down in a blubbery heap.
Anyway, thanks for creating this must have, keeps-my-kids-asleep-and-my-spouse-happy plugin. It rocks! :D - Jun 17 2012

I am getting a "The following plugins can't be activated: Darken screen for night viewing" popup. This is odd as I've used Nightmode on Kubuntu+FGLRX on this machine before.
Can I do anything to get you more useful information? Night mode is such a crucial plugin to me. I still don't understand how the explode plugin is included by default but not this... - Jan 03 2012

2. NM - That's likely an error. All I did was change gradients to flat white on the wireless icons. If it's changing sizes (and doesn't in Oxygen) then I've probably just grouped something wrong. I'm working on a wired desktop, and so haven't had as much chance to check that.
Thanks for the heads up! - Oct 26 2010
I'll keep improving it, especially the panel. :) - Oct 20 2010
NOTE: Some icons (especially network manager) seem to take a while to update. I'm guessing it's a cache thing, but if you click on another theme and then back on breath + apply a few times the icon cache is eventually cleared. - Oct 20 2010

I just wish they'd given us a decent size version of this image:

Let's think about this. The fundamental idea you're conveying is freedom and openness.
Conceptually, a box is about closing things in.
The heavy back surrounding everything increases the claustraphobic feeling even more.
Fundamentally you need a logo that is light background with open, lines that *don't* box anything in. - Jun 18 2009

Obviously it doesn't.
Right now, it confuses users (I've seen) by taking them to the plasmoids "home" folder (usually their home directory).
A far more logical / UI consistent icon to use would be the "Home" icon. This is universally understood from people using browsers.
All it needs is changing the icon name. Doesn't get much easier than that! :) - Jun 18 2009
