Kubuntu 6.10 is reasonably stable, it has never crashed and I have been using it for 3 days, I find the "Guidance Power Management" a lot better than klaptopdaemon, alltogether it is a lot cleaner, although it needs some improvements.

the Icon theme is Snowish, It is a good theme but I don't like the Amarok icon so I will modify it with some other nice themes I have :)
