Hi
I'm currently creating an IM program (still in pre-dev stage) and I need a logo or something else but I got no inspiration and no time (and not many skills in icon/logo drawing u_u). As I see for a long time the great job every people do here I thought it could be helpful for me to ask someone.

So if you're inspired the name is Akomi. Animals or abstract things are welcome (it's a logo/icon, make it simple ^^).

- I made a little example of logo (really not finished) which can be a start for interested designers. Just download the file. (SVG, first download link)

- Test logo, second link (png)

- Logo and mascot design tests, based on jxt's. Comments are welcome.(send your designs if you have ideas !)

In fact I like the cute ghost and the cartoon style of jxt's as much as I like the clean and professional style of needcoffee's. I've got some time to waste, so I'll try to make a mix ;) (fear)

Wow nice too :) a bit less fancy than jxt's for sure.

I think I'm a bit altering the picture but were you inspirated by firefox and opera's logos ? (respectively for the shape and the color & the shadow behind the letters)

Well I'll wait a few days to see any other idea. Anyway thanks for your work :) The little ghost is very cute ^^ I like it, simple and it's not deja vu (I was afraid someone send me 3 plump guys holding their hands)

Yes. It will be an irc-like system, with modern features (such as audio and videoconference I hope).

Open (in all the means of the word), safe and secure. My leitmotiv :)
