sorry just one more thing... would you be able to put the colour scheme and gtk theme for gnome-look and xfce-look? (i use xfce... SAM linux)... or would that take too long/too much work? thanks.

on a second thought, QtCurve does support both KDE and Gtk, so you can use Materia in your Gtk apps. i suspect there's a way to get the colorscheme working too, though it might involve running kcontrol.

I am using Beryl now and I agree that it's better:) ... I can't get that wallpaper though... i don't know what kind of file it is on that site. can you just post the download for it please? thanks.

Appimages

To install any downloaded Appimage via GUI, use this tool AppImagelauncher.

To install Appimages from Appimagehub via CLI use appimage-cli-tool.
This allows you to e.g. search appimages with "app search xyz" and install any appimage via command "app install #id".

Beryl and Emerald are theme decorators used under Compiz to provide window themes.
